The Calhoun County Road Commission (CCRC) has immediate openings for seasonal truck drivers in Calhoun County, starting in November and lasting through March, 2013.

The pay is $14 per hour. This is a work “as needed” position; there is no guarantee for a 40 hour work week.

All candidates must maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s License, CDL, Class B with Air Brakes and DOT Physical Card.

Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining truck, equipment and paperwork as necessary on the job, and road maintenance including patching, plowing, scraping of roads and general labor. Hours and work shift may vary based on weather and needs.

Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years driving experience and a high school diploma in order to apply for this position.
