Free tire and appliance collection starts October 10th

Do you have old tires or appliances that you need to get rid of? The Calhoun County Road Commission (CCRC) will be sponsoring a tire and appliance collection on Wednesday, October 10th, through Friday, October 12th, at the Calhoun County Road Commission garage. That’s located at 13300 15 Mile Road in Marshall.

The hours of the collection will be 7:30am to 4pm, Wednesday through Friday.

Each Calhoun County resident will be allowed to bring in seven passenger tires for free (rims included). Appliances are also free, but only whiteware and metal appliances will be accepted — no commercial businesses please.

If you have a large quantity of tires or have any questions,
please call (269) 781-9841 for additional information.

Funding for this program is provided by the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners through the Calhoun County Solid Waste Management Fund.
