NOW HIRING: Office manager

The Calhoun County Road Department (CCRD) is now accepting applications for an office manager.

Under the general direction of the Road Department Managing Director and indirectly to the HR & Labor Relations Director, provides office management and administrative support to the Road Department and supervises clerical staff. Also serves as HR liaison to the County Human Resources Department.

Salary range: $45,011 – $57,512

Minimum requirements: The job requires knowledge and critical thinking skills normally acquired through the completion of at least an Associate’s Degree. A Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Two to four years of progressively more responsible administrative service or office management experience required. Experience with local government, road agencies or related industry, or union environment is preferred. Possession of a valid MI Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record is required.

Status: Full-time, exempt

Location: Road Department – Marshall
Occasional travel may be required including travel to Jackson County and other locations as assigned.
