The Calhoun County Road Department (CCRD) is now accepting applications for a seasonal engineering intern.
Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, will perform all types of engineering related tasks including, but not limited to, topographic surveying, construction staking, paving inspection, computer database input, quantity measurement and calculations, collecting traffic volumes, collecting and logging
road department infrastructure information, and updating annual resurfacing inventory maps.
Wage Rate: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Civil engineering coursework, computer proficiency, and land survey methods experience preferred.
Status: Seasonal position (April – October), Non-Exempt*
*Extended work days and work beyond eight hours per day and/or 40 hours per week required as needed.
