RFP – Design/engineering services at Calhoun County Trailway

The Calhoun County Road Commission is soliciting proposals from interested consultants for design and engineering services for the Calhoun County Trailway, Phase 1, Segment 1.

Services to be provided include preliminary engineering, surveying, recommendations for design, assistance in acquisition of right-of-way, conducting public meetings for Federal Aid project development, design, engineering, and furnishing all materials necessary to implement bidding by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for construction of the project.

Please submit four (4) copies of your completed proposal no later than 2pm EST on July 19, 2011, to the Calhoun County Road Commission, 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall, MI 49068. All submittals must be sealed and identified on the outside of the envelope as follows: “Design/Engineering Services, Calhoun County Trailway, Phase 1, Segment 1.”

Please submit two (2) copies of the cost of services as a separate and distinct part of your overall proposal and clearly mark “Phase 1, Segment 1, Cost Proposal” in a separate envelope enclosed with your response.

In order for the proposal to be accepted all proposers shall complete the “Proposal and Award” page(s) and submit all information requested herein in the proposal document in its entirety. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN THE PROPOSAL BEING REJECTED. The board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in any document and to accept the proposal they deem in the best interest of the Calhoun County Road Commission.
